Here’s another nice find. Sell sheets are usually sent to people within industry with brief information about the product. More often then not, they don’t get to see the light of day. For some people this might be a small addition to video game collection. Perhaps for some, this is a small piece of history, too. I’m sure that Mario Advance doesn’t need any introduction here, but it’s nice to see an internal document from Nintendo about it.
This particular Nintendo sell sheet is dated 08/2004 and was sent out to European game distributors. I was able to extract box art and logo from it for future box art projects.
Where to download?
Ah yes, I had lots of fun playing these games on SNES and GBA.
Digital files (box art, manuals, posters, box shots, press kits) of older game titles are harder to find in today’s digital domain. But they do exist! Too bad all those media folks who have access to those secretive “media/press sites” don’t share them with the box art community. But I do a little bit of searching (doxing) on my own & find few documents here & there, sitting on some long forgotten servers.Today I’m posting a logo extracted from one of those “forgotten sell sheets”.
Dear reader, perhaps You have some rare digital file(s) sitting around waiting to be rediscovered by the world? Please share :)
